Mayor's Summer Jobs Program


The City of Jacksonville is excited to announce the 2017 Mayor's Summer Jobs Program!

This years' program will be building the talent pipeline for our local economy by connecting young adults with education and employment career pathways that prepare them to meet the skill demands of employers while leading them to workforce success.

  • Our program will begin June 12 and run through July 21, 2017.
  • The program will consist of training and 20-hour work weeks, along with a wide variety of employment opportunities.
  • You must be between the ages of 16-21 (must be 16 by June 1, 2017
  • Must be TANF eligible in order to participate in the 2017 Mayor's Summer Jobs Program

Please have the following information ready prior to applying for the program:

  • social security number - OR - 
  • TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) documents
