Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) filed site plans with the city last week to expand its Jacksonville manufacturing facility.

Johnson & Johnson Vision manufactures its ACUVUE contact lenses at the 732,000-sq.-ft. facility in Baymeadows. Site plans show the company wants to add about 15,000 sq. ft. to its central utility plant on the 69-acre site, and it has more space allocated for a “future generator” and “future expansion.”

The plans also call for the removal of a bathroom and locker facility to accommodate the expansion.

The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday.

The expansion is the plant’s latest growth since it received $98 million in city and state incentives for a $300 million expansion in 2015.
