CareerSource Northeast Florida Policies and Initiatives

CareerSource Northeast Florida is the local workforce development board for Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns counties. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requires each local workforce development board, in partnership with the appropriate chief local elected official(s), to develop and submit a comprehensive four-year local plan to the state. The local plan provides a framework for local areas to define how their workforce development systems will achieve the purposes of WIOA, pursuant to 20 CFR 679.500 and 20 CFR 679.540.

CareerSource Northeast Florida’s plan is available for public comment from July 29, 2024, through August 16, 2024.
