Intermodal volume declines for second straight quarter, reports IANA

(Nasdaq: CSX) showed continued improvement on operating ratio, the industry-wide measure of operating efficiency. Meet Darryl Brown, Transportation & Logistics Industry Manager
Darryl Brown is the Transportation and Logistics sector manager at CareerSource Northeast Florida. Prior to joining CareerSource, Darryl was the President/CEO of BMO Solutions Group. Darryl is a former naval officer with over 20 years of management and leadership experience in logistics with both government and private agencies.
As a naval officer, Darryl was the Director of Logistics for Destroyer Squadron Six. Iin this capacity, he has a managed logistics requirements both in the United States and South America. During his tenure as Commanding Officer of USS Robert G. Bradley, Darryl developed policy and provided direction to support logistics and transportation requirement for an operational budget in excess of $10 million. As the president for BMO Solutions, Darryl was responsible for business development in North East Florida. Darryl is a graduate of University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and the Naval War College with a Masters of Arts degree in National Security & Strategic Studies.
