Collins will not deliver Max components until second half of 2021, says Raytheon
Sept. 14, 2020 (Courtesy of Flight Global) Collins Aerospace will likely not begin shipping components for Boeing’s still-grounded 737 Max until the second half of 2021. The aerospace company’s parent Raytheon Technologies also disclosed on 28 July plans to broadly overhaul its aerospace businesses in response to the dual challenges of the Max grounding and broad industry downturn. Meet Roben Faircloth, Advanced Manufacturing Industry Manager
Roben Faircloth is the Manufacturing sector manager at CareerSource Northeast Florida. Roben is a native Floridian, born and raised in Fort Myers, Florida. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Organizational Communications. Upon graduation she taught English in Tokyo, Japan for three years.
Before joining CareerSource, Roben was the Program Manager for the Florida TRADE Grant at Florida State College at Jacksonville working to help students prepare to enter the field of manufacturing and help those employed in manufacturing, improve their skills. Florida State College, CareerSource and First Coast Manufacturing partnered on this highly successful grant. Prior to working with the TRADE grant, she was an Enrollment Development Coordinator at FSCJ working with area high schools to introduce students to their post-secondary opportunities. She served on advisory boards for many area high schools including Peterson, Englewood, Forrest and Wolfson.
