“The Jacksonville metro area ended the year with the third-fastest job growth compared to all metro areas in the state, and the top annual growth rate in the professional and business services industry, adding 14,700 jobs in 2022, and in the leisure and hospitality sector, adding 10,900 jobs last year,” said CareerSource Northeast Florida (CareerSource NEFL) President Bruce Ferguson. “Even with these great job gains, we’ve started 2023 hosting more in-person recruiting events at our career centers for employers representing a variety of industries and will continue our regional virtual job fair to connect job seekers with these open positions.”
