Baptist medical campus brings new jobs, health care to Nassau (Courtesy of the Jacksonville Business Journal) — Four new service additions this week round out the Baptist Health medical campus in Nassau County that first debuted to the community in late 2024.
An emergency care and imaging services center initially opened at the site at 462626 State Road 200 just east of Interstate 95 in November, with plans to fill out a large medical campus and health care hub.
Now, the campus additions offer Baptist primary care and heart specialists, the Nassau Crossing Endoscopy Center and a Borland Groover Medical Office.
“We’re proud to be a longstanding contributor to the health and vitality of Nassau County, and we remain dedicated to those who have entrusted us with their health for so long,” said Tara Beth Anderson, hospital president of Baptist Medical Center Nassau, in a release. “We are excited to expand our reach and look forward to continuing to support the community’s health needs for the next 30 years and beyond.”
The Borland Groover office features 12 exam rooms and expanded infusion services. Its four-room ambulatory surgery center offers endoscopies, along with expert screening and diagnostic colonoscopies, making it more convenient for locals to undergo regular colonoscopies.
The 56,588-square-foot campus aims to serve those living or working in Yulee, Callahan, Hilliard and surrounding areas. It is designed to allow for future expansions if needed.
The Baptist Nassau Crossing Medical Campus is also contributing to the local economy by bringing nearly 100 full-time jobs to the area, according to the release.
“Baptist Health is committed to increasing access to high-quality health care, and one way we are accomplishing this is by expanding our footprint into areas where our services are most needed,” said Catherine Graham, senior vice president of clinical service lines and ambulatory business development, in the release.
