Jacksonville, Fla. (Jan. 17, 2024) Employers can find out more about the customized training reimbursement program offered by CareerSource Northeast Florida (CareerSource NEFL) during a webinar set for 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18.

The webinar will be conducted by CareerSource NEFL Industry Manager Roben Faircloth, who will provide insight on how businesses can take advantage of customized training funds offered by CareerSource NEFL.
“Our goal is to increase the number of businesses applying for customized training, which can help companies respond to changing skills requirements caused by new technology, retooling, adding new product lines or organizational changes,” Faircloth said.
Customized training is a business-driven program that continues to play a vital role in the state’s overall economic development efforts. If business meets eligibility requirements, CareerSource NEFL and underwrite a portion of the training costs – with that training administered by an authorized outside contractor or training provider.
Last year, nearly 500 employees throughout the region received customized training support from CareerSource NEFL – with more than 900 also receiving credentials through the program.
