Business and Community Partners who have visited our headquarters or Clay County Career Center need to know that both are now at a new location at 2141 Loch Rane Blvd., in Orange Park.
After nearly 20 years at its previous location in Fleming Island, the office and center reopened at the new location on April 23.

“When our lease came up for renewal, we saw a chance to better serve our community and identified a Clay County location that would be easier for job seekers to reach while providing the space our team needs to deliver quality services,” said CareerSource NEFL President Cheryl Taylor. “With transit access being a top priority, we’re confident the new Loch Rane Boulevard location will make it easier than ever for job seekers to get the support they need.”
The career center in Clay County had been at its previous location off Town Center Boulevard in Fleming Island, Fla. since 2007.
Meanwhile, Gator Investments, the property management firm that owns and operates Gateway Town Center recently completed a one-year renovation project that has created a ‘beachy vibe’ for those visiting the center on Norwood Avenue.

While he couldn’t share the dollar amount the company invested in Gateway Town Center, it was substantial.
“It’s really a state-of-the-art property now,” said Gator Investments Property Manager Mike Hamilton. “We started the property renovation in 2025 and it was completed in about a year. Literally everything is new…the roof, irrigation system, and with new asphalt and striping of the parking lot.”
Hamilton said the reaction from new tenants and visitors has been very positive.
“They really love it,” he said. “It’s brighter, cleaner and just looks great. Overall, it’s a really nice looking property.”
CareerSource NEFL Assistant Director Stacey Smith says the response from customers has been overwhelmingly positive. “Many of them have commented on how clean, modern, and welcoming the center feels now,” Smith said. “It’s created a more professional environment that makes them feel confident and comfortable when coming in for services. When employees see investment being made into their workspace, it reinforces that they are valued,” he said. “It’s boosted pride in the center and created a more energized and motivated atmosphere for both staff and the customers we serve.”
