Clearsense moves headquarters from Jacksonville to Nashville (Courtesy of the Jacksonvile Business Journal) — Nashville is getting a new health-tech headquarters from the Sunshine State.

Clearsense, a cloud-based data company, has moved its headquarters from Jacksonville, to an existing office in Nashville.

“We elevate the brand by moving the company to Nashville,” CEO Jason Rose told the Nashville Business Journal. “Those who know health care know that Nashville is the center of the country and that’s a really important part of our strategic position, with respect to how we see ourselves as leaders in health care.”

Clearsense is just the most recent company joining tech and health care giants’ relocations to Nashville. The announcement of Oracle Corp’s (NYSE: ORCL) new headquarters, Amazon’s (Nasdaq: AMZN) presence in the city and HCA Healthcare (NYSE: HCA) are the main drivers behind the company’s decision to relocate its headquarters, according to Rose, who already has plans for the company’s local growth. It’s the same reason other similar companies, including Enjoin, Dexory and Alder Bowman, have relocated to the city.

“It’s just a really great place to be,” Rose said “Just surrounded by hundreds of health care and health care tech companies, there’s a lot of opportunities to do partnerships and those types of things.”

Founded in 2016, Clearsense helps make data more valuable, accessible and secure to improve outcomes for health systems. The company has “several tens of millions” in revenue, according to Rose.

“We’re not a small company,” Rose said. “We have about 100 people nationwide.”

Rose, who has been CEO since January 2024, hopes to have more than a dozen employees in Nashville by the end of 2025. While some of his employees have expressed interest in relocating to Nashville, he’s not making it a requirement.

“Over time we will continue in increase [local staff],” Rose said. “We just hired a few people in the last couple months. All of our corporate meetings — when we’re bringing in clients, having events — those are in Nashville.”

As part of the company’s move, it has also undergone a rebrand, which includes a redesigned website, modernized logo and refreshed messaging. It also launched two new technology services on its 1Clearsense platform.
