Health care provider for seniors plans new site in Arlington (Courtesy of the Jacksonville Business Journal) –ArchWell Health, a health care provider for seniors with locations on Florida’s Gulf Coast and several other regions across the U.S., is close to moving forward with construction of a new facility in Jacksonville, city records show.
The city is reviewing a permit for a tenant build-out in an existing stand-alone building at 1072 Arlington Road North, according to the records.
Construction is planned for a primary care facility for seniors with an interior build-out of 8,250 square feet.
The project has a $2.8 million price tag.
Under its membership plans, the company provides on-site testing and health screenings, 24-hour phone support, same-day and telehealth appointments, transportation assistance to and from appointments, referrals to specialists and dedicated care teams, according to its website.
The site in Arlington appears to be ArchWell Health’s first location in Jacksonville.
Outside of Florida, ArchWell Health has locations in Arizona, Alabama, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina and Oklahoma.
Hoar Construction LLC and PermitFlow are doing work on the project.
Arlington Cardinal Plaza LLC owns the property.
The Arlington area has seen quite a bit of new development recently.
For instance, EDEN Living announced Aug. 5 that it had delivered a 265-unit community named EDEN at Kendall West.
The property at 9105 Tredinick Parkway consists of 193 single-story cluster apartment homes and 72 two-story townhomes in a relatively new concept of horizontal apartment development.
