OIA Global acquires customs brokerage, freight forwarding leader JF Moran (Courtesy of the Jacksonville Business Journal) — OIA Global, an end-to-end supply chain management company, has acquired customs brokerage and freight forwarding leader JF Moran, which has an office in Jacksonville, according to an announcement.
The acquisition was completed Tuesday and financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
OIA Global is headquartered in Portland, Oregon. JF Moran, has other offices in California, Connecticut, North Carolina and several other locations.
“This acquisition marks a new chapter for both companies as we bring together decades of expertise to offer you even more comprehensive and globally integrated solutions,” the announcement said.
Operating under the OIA Global name, JF Moran will keep the same staff, existing contacts, services and day-to-day operations in Jacksonville.
The company does not anticipate any changes to its service pricing.
JF Moran clients will also have access to OIA Global’s full suite of supply chain solutions, which include international freight forwarding by air, ocean and road, contract logistics, packaging optimization, raw material management and more.
OIA Global has operations in 30 countries and has 67 offices worldwide. The company provides end-to-end support across industries such as electronics, energy, healthcare, industrial, automotive and mobility and retail and lifestyle.
