Plans from architect BGE Inc., show stormwater management and grading planned for the 47-acre site. The developer is Zion Jacksonville LLC, with a mailing address registered to 225 E. 57th St. Suite 14E, New York.

The company plans the center at 9496 Eastport Road in North Jacksonville that will employ 100 people. It will build a 400,000-square-foot building at an estimated $57 million with an additional investment of $7 million for machinery and equipment, according to city documents.

The office of Economic Development proposed a Recapture Enhanced Value Grant based on 50% of the increase in real and personal property taxes generated at the project site, for five years up to a maximum of $1.5 million. It passed at the Aug. 21 Mayor’s Budget Review Committee meeting.
