RISE and Origin Investments beginning $60 million Linden House apartments (Courtesy of the Jacksonville Business Journal) — A project to add nearly 300 new apartment units to the growing area along Race Track Road is underway.

RISE: A Real Estate Co. said Wednesday it is partnering with private equity firm Origin Investments for the $60 million Linden House apartments development.

Linden House will be at the intersection of Race Track Road and State Road 9B near Bartram Park and the Pavilion at Durbin Park. It is one of the fastest growing areas in the metro.

Linden House will consist of 281,000 square feet and seven buildings with 295 total apartment units in one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations.

RISE, which is moving its headquarters to Jacksonville, is also working on The Julington project in Mandarin and The Doro in downtown Jacksonville’s Sports and Entertainment District.

Linden House will be the first project on the First Coast for Origin Investments.

“Origin continues to look for ways to further expand our footprint into high growth markets like Jacksonville,” said Kyle Verhasselt, vice president at Origin Investments. “It makes tremendous sense to be aligned with a firm like RISE that has an exemplary track record nationally and a strong foothold throughout Florida.”

The team working on Linden House includes RISE General Contractors, Charlan Brock Architects and ETM. Completion of the project is expected in February 2023.
