SNAP Employment & Training Requirements
Florida’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), often referred to as Food Stamps, requires that all Able-Bodied Adults without Dependents (ABAWDS) aged 18-59 must participate in the SNAP Employment & Training (E&T) program. Read these Frequently Asked Questions for more information about SNAP and the ABAWD status.
The goal of the SNAP E&T program is to help unemployed recipients of food assistance benefits find work. CareerSource NEFL oversees the SNAP E&T program in Duval, St. Johns, Putnam, Baker, Clay, and Nassau Counties in partnership with FloridaCommerce.
Once you have been referred to the SNAP E&T program, you must complete the following steps to maintain eligibility for food stamp assistance.
Step 1:
Log into the One-Stop Service Tracking Center (OSST Client Website). Click on this link: https://osstclient.deo.myflorida.com/ to complete your work registration requirements.
Step 2:
You will complete the steps below; once you have completed a step, you will receive a green check mark ✓ as seen below.
If you need assistance accessing the Internet or using a computer, please visit your nearest CareerSource NEFL Career Center to complete the required modules.
