Providing Opportunities for Youth & Young Adults
Studies show that young people who work after school and during the summer, stay in school and are not in as much trouble as those who don’t work. In addition to building stronger communities, companies that hire young adults:
- Fill the talent pipeline and create more and better future workers.
- Expose and teach young people about their industry and organization.
- Build company loyalty. Young people may become customers/ champions of companies they know and admire.
CareerSource NEFL can help connect young workers to employers seeking interns, and job shadowing opportunities. If you are interested in providing an internship or job shadowing opportunity, please contact us via email at youthservices@careersourcenefl.com. You may also visit Employ Florida to post your openings or internship opportunities.
