Johnson & Johnson acquires $30.7M permit to renovate headquarters (Courtesy of the Jacksonville Business Journal) — Johnson & Johnson Vision is having more work done at its Baymeadows headquarters after acquiring a $30.7 million permit Tuesday.

The permit calls for renovation of existing space to install equipment at 7500 Centurion Parkway, where the company manufactures its Acuvue contact lenses, records show. Enovative Technologies Inc. is the contractor. The headquarters at 7500 Centurion Parkway consists of more than 1 million square feet of space.

Two permits were approved in late September for a $20 million, three-story, 9,848-square-foot 2GT Wastes Plastics addition project and a $6.1 million permit for a 6,000-square-foot nitrogen plant at 7500 Centurion Parkway.

Johnson & Johnson Vision is one of the largest employers in the area with more than 3,500 employees at the Jacksonville headquarters and 10,000 employees globally.
